Our History
Serving the West since 1923
1920s
West Coast Produce Co Inc. (Later to become Harbor Wholesale) is founded in 1923 by Carl V. Erickson in Aberdeen, WA.
1940s - 1960s
During this time, the second generation, Carl R. Erickson and Jim Erickson, and the third generation, Mike and Steve Erickson join the family business. Harbor purchases the Pacific Fruit Building and begins servicing the convenience store industry.
1980s - 1990s
In 1985, Harbor moves to Tumwater, WA and expands distribution to Western, WA and Northwestern, OR. The fourth generation, Justin and Scott Erickson join the family business.
Today
Harbor is headquartered in Lacey, WA and is the largest independent distributor in the Northwest. Harbor is now serving c-stores, neighborhood markets, and QSR restaurants in Washington, Oregon, Northern California, Idaho and Alaska with a distribution center in Lacey, WA, Roseburg, OR, Portland, OR, Modesto, CA and satellite locations in Pasco, WA and Everett, WA.
